There is no exception to this.

Audra Renee' Highley is the owner and operator of Pure Harmony Massage located in Ooltewah Tennessee.

Audra established this practice in January of 2010. She is a Board Certified and State Licensed Massage Therapist.

Throughout those years in practice, Audra has become skilled at incorporating a variety of massage techniques to promote a reduction of stress and tension, both mentally and physically. She has applied education in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, TMJ Release Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage and Prenatal Massage.

Although, Audra no longer offers deep tissue massage sessions. If you are wanting to schedule a deep tissue massage, Audra would be happy to refer you to another licensed massage therapist in the area.

As the independent owner & operator of this business, Audra takes sole responsibility to keep a comfortable, safe and clean environment not only as the massage therapist but also the receptionist, laundress, marketer, bookkeeper, janitor, scheduler and reminding text messager - as she types personalized reminders to each client.

Audra's approach to massage focuses on each individual client with a detailed assessment followed by a customized session.

Her approach is rooted by the medical ethics principle to first do no harm. With humility and awareness, Audra will work within her scope of practice to ensure your routine is safe and beneficial. In some cases, massage therapy should not be performed on individuals with certain health profiles. Before you are able to reserve an appointment, Audra will speak with you over the phone and ask a series of questions. This questionnaire is the baseline for your protected health profile. This process exists so your session is safe and beneficial, to the best of Audra's knowledge. Your time and resources are important to Audra.

Whether you have never had a professional massage before or whether you have had many massages in the past, it is Audra's approach to ensure that you feel comfortable and knowledgeable throughout the entire massage therapy experience. A massage therapy experience starts when Audra greets you from the front waiting room for your appointment to begin - to when she walks out with you to the exit door as your experience ends. All of this time is accounted for in Audra's schedule for you.

Audra promotes that you receive the full duration of the session you schedule. For example, if you schedule a 60 or 90-minute massage, Audra creates a scheduled time block to have the time to massage you for a full 60 or 90-minutes.

To promote this, up to an additional 60-minutes is included with your first scheduled Traditional Table Massage session to establish care. It is Audra's goal that with this extra time you do not feel rushed through the pre-massage interview, there is time to ensure that you, as well as Audra, are comfortable and knowledgeable about the massage routine beforehand and also that there is time for a post-massage interview. New Client rates differ from Established Client rates and this extra time, attention and care is why.

So your first 60-minute massage session with Audra can be up to a 2-hour massage experience. And yet Audra gives you even more time, after you've left, because she actually blocked out a total of 3-hours in her work day for entire clientele establishment and preparation process.

3-hours may seem like a lot of time. But for Audra, it's the perfect amount of time to stay focused and relaxed as she provides you a massage experience, then afterward has time to safe-guard your personal health information in her password protected computer, followed by creating your unique individual profile, but to also have time to clean, sanitize, purify, dust and vacuum the treatment room and then to study the next client's personal profile and preferences so everything is in place and ready for their arrival & she greets them on time. This extra preparation time is time she takes for you too, if you choose to reschedule.

If you do reschedule, you will be considered an Established Client. Established clients receive 20 to 25-minutes of complimentary time in the form of a pre-post massage interview, pending that they arrive 10-minutes early for their scheduled appointment. So a 60-minute massage is a 80 to 85-minute massage experience.

Audra actually blocks out 1 hour in-between established clients for time needed to prepare for client arrival, clean, sanitize, purify, dust and vacuum the treatment room, update records and be on time for her next client with their records already reviewed and preferences in place.

We have all heard of job related "burn-outs" before and Audra avoids mental and physical burn-outs by taking this extra time to stay mentally focused and maintain a physical well being. She strives to do her very best to provide every client an optimal customer service and massage therapy experience.
